On the afternoon of November 5, Sinopharm Foreign Trade (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sinopharm Foreign Trade, and Siemens Healthineers System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Siemens Healthineers") held a purchase agreement signing ceremony at the 4th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "CIIE").

Sinopharm Foreign Trade (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Deputy General Manager Chen Fei and Siemens Healthineers Greater China Region Vice President Peng Tao signed the purchase agreement on behalf of the two sides, respectively. Also present at the signing ceremony were Sinopharm Deputy General Manager and Sinopharm International Chairperson Shi Shengyi, relevant leaders of Sinopharm International and Sinopharm Foreign Trade, and Siemens Healthineers Asia-Pacific Region Key Account Management Vice President Markus Kronhardt.

Using the platform of the CIIE, Sinopharm Foreign Trade (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has reached agreements on purchase intention cooperation with Siemens Healthineers for four consecutive times. An enterprise directly under the central government, it is committed to its political and economic responsibilities with a clear stand, and takes concrete actions to promote China's proposition of building "an open world economy" on the basis of "dual circulation" strategy. As a level-l agency of Siemens Healthineers, Sinopharm Foreign Trade (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has been honored with "Siemens Five-star Partner" for three consecutive years since 2018, and achieved growth in both sale scale and authorized area.

The signing of this agreement further consolidated the partnership between the two sides. Sinopharm Foreign Trade, by relying on the advanced intelligent imaging technologies of Siemens, can better introduce innovative 5G+ medical technological achievements and pursue mutual complementarity in resource advantages. With innovative cooperation models and advanced technologies, it will accelerate the upgrading of health-related services of Sinopharm.
